GLURAX POWDER Denture Adhesive Powder

GLURAX POWDER is a 20 g adhesive powder developed to support denture fixation. During use, it forms a cream-gel layer between the denture and gums, helping fill the space and create a “cushion effect.”

Directions when used alone

1. Wash the denture, shake off excess water and do not dry it.
2. Apply a thin layer to the surface that contacts the gums and palate.
3. Insert the denture and apply light pressure by closing the teeth or pressing it by hand for several minutes.
4. If fixation is insufficient, add a small additional quantity. Determine the suitable amount gradually.
5. Wait 15–20 minutes before the first meal.

Removal and important information

Rinse the mouth with water, wait until the adhesive effect weakens and remove the denture gently with a slight sideways movement. Clean it thoroughly with warm water and a toothbrush. Keep the package closed and dry. Hot foods, drinks and large quantities of liquid may shorten fixation. The package states “14+ hours”; the fixation duration was obtained under laboratory conditions on upper dentures and may vary. Consult a dentist if the denture is loose or does not fit correctly.

Combined use with GLURAX Ultra

The manufacturer confirms that GLURAX POWDER and GLURAX ULTRA may be used together to support fixation, particularly for lower or loose dentures. This method does not correct an ill-fitting denture or guarantee a specific duration.

1. Clean and completely dry the denture.
2. Apply GLURAX Ultra in thin lines on a lower denture or in small dots on an upper denture.
3. Sprinkle Powder over the cream to create a lightly visible, semi-transparent layer through which the denture remains slightly visible.
4. Position the denture correctly and keep the mouth firmly closed for 2–3 minutes.
5. Do not eat or drink for a further 15–20 minutes.

Composition, warnings and storage

Ingredients: Sodium Alginate, Sodium Carboxymethylcellulose (Cellulose Gum). Keep out of reach of children. Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any ingredient. Stop use and seek professional advice if irritation, pressure areas, allergic symptoms or persistent discomfort occur. Store dry, below 25 °C, with the package closed. Medical device Class I.
